Metaverse is future. For a lot of people, the only representation they have of this futuristic scenario is from science fiction novels or movies. But what about those who have been working on technology for the last few years?

The Metaverse is a blockchain-base decentralize network of virtual worlds and online communities. it is a distributed ledger that allows for the creation and exchange of digital assets. Decenterland a decenterlized app is based on Metaverse, a virtual world where users can buy and sell land, build applications, and create their own digital identities.

The Metaverse is much more than just a virtual world; it is a new way of thinking about the Internet. An open-source project that is under progress by a community of developers. The goal of the this platform is to create a decentralize network of virtual worlds that are power by blockchain technology.

The Metaverse is still in its early stages, but there are already a few applications that are on the platform. Decentraland is one of the most popular applications on the Metaverse. In Decentraland, users can buy and sell land, build applications, and create their own digital identities.

Another popular application on the platform is Blockmarket, which is an decentralized marketplace that allows for the buying and selling of digital assets. and Blockmarket is similar to eBay or Amazon, but it runs on the Metaverse blockchain instead

The Metaverse is still in development, but it is already clear that it will have a major impact on the internet as we know it. Hence below are some applications that will be improved in Metaverse

Communication

You can communicate on Meta as you can communicate on any other Platform. using VR you can feel like sitting in one meeting room, communicating with other people as avatars. it is same as communication in vidoe games except you are the person talking.

Explore

You can explore digital world through your avatar. there will be markets, stores, malls in this virtual world and you can navigate through it. You can pin the location with label and other people can find it.

Games

Games are already in one step ahead, you can go to the play areas and play with other players in 3D as you are together. some games are single players and others you can only play with other players

Art and Music

Music is one of the first feilds to enter in Metaverse, currently in Oct 2022, Live events in VR are in progress. you can join the server and listen, see and enjoy live event.

Building

Building games such as Roblox or Minecraft are examples; the same theme implemented in the metaverse. You can construct whatever you want.

Conversion
