One of the easiest way earning money in internet I use, is making, distributing and publishing flash games. One can earn a good amount of money as a game developer, or as a publisher (free online games website owner). Free game developers have several ways of monetization of their games. Some of them are:
a) Game sponsorship. Developer can find sponsor for his game using internet services offering connect developers and sponsors.
b) In-game Advertising. Many websites are offering to integrate advertisement in flash online games. Developer can also integrate in his game his own advertisement.
c) Selling flash games or its templates using flash file markets such as Flash Game License
d) Selling in-game points.
Flash game publishers (website owners) can also have the good earnings using online advertising programs like Google AdSense, Chitika or Adbrite. Most popular online advertising program is AdSense, which is one of the Google’s products. This program offers highest revenues and most optimized conditions for advertisers and publishers. Free game portals are also accepted and in some countries (USA, Canada) are also in-game ads offered. Disadvantage of AdSense is, that not all languages are accepted.
The second way of earning money for publishers is to sell advertisement places on their websites directly to advertisers, but finding the advertiser is not always easy. By my experience, one can have best results if he/she can combine flash game developing, distributing and publishing. In this case developer can promote his own websites using own games and drive additional traffic for his websites. As for everyone is known, more traffic means more money.
