In order to start working legally you need to register your business with SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan). but forst you need to know about company types. There are mainly 3 types of companies in SECP
Types of Companies
- Public limited – Any three or more people who wish to associate for lawful purposes may do so by signing a Memorandum of Association and complying with the provisions of the Companies Act 2017 makes the Public Limited Company.
- Private Limited Company – Any two or more people who wish to associate for lawful purposes may do so by signing a Memorandum of Association and complying with the provisions of the Companies Act 2017 makes the Private Limited Company
- Single Member Compnay – if only one member forms a company it is called single member company.
Open SECP Account
Once you have finalized the company type. open account on SECP eservices portal. below video will help you for oepning an online account with SECP. You have to register yourself with the SECP first. This video exactly do that
You have to signup to the portal fill up all our personal information as provided in the video and save your username and password.
Enter Company Detials in SECP Portal
Next step is enter company detials in your SECP account. Documents you need to open account are
- CNIC of all partners
- Company Address
Login to your account and enter all the company details. book your company name. below video will guide you step by step. it will guide you with full process in more convineint way
Once you have entered the company details and booked your company name. it is time to go to next step
Upload all required Documents
The Documents samples for company registration can be found on SECP webiste here. You have to download the respective documents. and fill it and and Submit via the SECP Portal.
