Learn about lighting techniques

Lighting is an essential part of photography. It will help you capture images that are clear and sharp, and also helps to set the mood for your photos. There are two main types of light – natural light and artificial light. Natural light comes from the sun, while artificial light is produced by lamps, flashlights, and other sources.

Here are five suggestions that examine the qualities of the light source.

1. BE AWARE OF COLOR TEMPERATURE

The colors that the human eye can actually see are known as color temperature.One aspect of visible light is color temperature. Kelvin degrees are used to measure it (K). Warm hues, such as yellow and red, are those with lower temperatures (i.e., 2,700-3,000 K). Higher temperatures are associated with cool colors like blue and white.

2. ASSESS NATURAL LIGHT

The source of all daylight is the sun. Different types of light are available from numerous directions thanks to outdoor lighting. You may capture varied tones, colors, and light effects by taking pictures at various times of the day.

Take classes to improve your skills

If you want to learn more about lighting, then take some classes. You can find free online courses at sites such as Udemy, Coursera, and EdX. These courses will teach you everything you need to know about lighting, so you can start taking better pictures.
